Jewel is premed, and a Science Major. She may not officially be a roommate, but she is a best friend to all of the girls. She does live in the same apartment complex and ward. She grew up in an inner city with a single mom. She has two half brothers. She's half black. And she's the only convert in her family.

The Curse of Thursday the Twelfth

The earliest I'm aware of is when I was a kid back either in 1996 or 2002. We were at the library on a cold December night. Thursday, the 12th. Looking for books on the shelf. When my moms turned back to get her purse it was gone. Her purse had been stolen. 

Another time was in February 2004. It was the day before our school Valentine's celebration on Friday the 13th. We needed some last minute gifts, so took a quick run to Target. On the way home the roads were pretty clear. We were less than a mile from home when we passed a high school where a reckless driver sped out of the parking lot into us! My mothers quick reflexes saved us from a great deal of harm, but my sister still had her clavicle broken. We spent the rest of the evening in the hospital.

There have been disasters occur on this dreaded Thursday the twelfth for years in our family. This year, for me, was the worst.

Gabriella is an Exercise Science major. She is passionate about health, politics, and the gospel. She is multi-lingual because her mother is Italian and her father is French. She helped to convert Charlie while on her mission and then lived with her in foreign language housing before Charlie moved off campus. She has three brothers and a much younger baby sister. She is not at all familiar with Jane Austen. From New York.

Anne has yet to choose a major. She works as a hair stylist and enjoys flirting, yoga, and newly discovered Zumba, and Dr. Pepper. She's an only child. Being from a small city on a European island, many things are new to her. Everyone loves her accent. She has only read Pride and Prejudice, but she loves it.
