When this adorable powerhouse couple walked in the door of their new apartment after their honeymoon, they were welcomed with moving boxes in the living room. And moving boxes in the kitchen. And a dining table piled with wedding presents. They certainly had much to do.
But their bedroom held a beautiful surprise! It was a picture of peace with a lovely cushioned headboard framing a custom-made extra long, queen-size pillowtop mattress. The comforter looked like a cloud, and the pillows were perfect!
Lisa Ilene ran her fingers along the top of the bed as she walked to lift the covers and her fingertips tingled ever so slightly. The fabric was softer than anything she’d ever felt. It was almost like cotton, but silkier.
“Where did this come from?” She asked her husband in a hushed tone.
Lenz picked up a note from the foot of the bed and read it out loud:
Happy wedding and stuff. You guys are the best!
I know your food truck business will be freaking bad.
You guys are killin it!
But you gotta have good sleep, you know.
Enjoy this bedding set I made just for you.

The room was still. Silent. A change of heart took over within Lisa Ilene.
“Maybe he was on to something,” she admitted as she melted into the bed. As soon as her head hit the pillow, she was out.
“These pillowcases really are magic. Although they don't allow any time for pillow talk.” Lenz shrugged and went to bed.
Neither realized how exhausted they had been. Working through their honeymoon may not sound romantic, but Lisa Ilene wouldn’t have had it any other way. Whether she got up extra early the next morning to go for a run, that I know not. But I would bet that this bedding wouldn’t let anything disturb their peaceful slumber.
