PHX Airport Eateries (American)

If you're coming in through Checkpoint B you'll be entering the lower Bs. This is the first entrance you'll come to if approaching Sky Harbor from the east.

LOWER Bs

Let's start here at the lower Bs. Continuing straight you will find places to eat around B4 and B5:

• Wendy's
• Pita Jungle
• Sweet Republic Ice Cream
• Matt's Big Breakfast
• The Refuge Coffee Food And Wine

If you Turn RIGHT after you make your way through security you'll head to the upper Bs

UPPER Bs

Right away, in front of B15, you'll find

• Starbucks

Continuing down this corridor around B20 and B21 you get to:

• McDonald's
• La Madeleine French Cafe
• Cowboy Ciao

If, however, you are coming in through Checkpoint A, you will walk in seeing the lower As.

LOWER As

Walk straight into to the open hallway and when you get to about A4 and A5 you find your first set of places to eat:

• Olive and Ivy 
• Zinburger 
• Blanco Tacos and Tequila

As you continue down to A8 and A9 you find: Panda Express Wildflower Bread Co

Finally, if you turn to LEFT after your trudge through security you will see the upper As.

UPPER As

Right away you arrive at:

• Peet's coffee 

Keep going down all the way to A20:

• Four Peaks Brewing Co.
• Humble Pie 
• Pei Wei
• Deluxe Burger

Now, not all of these places have great hours or full menus. But there are some gems if you look.

For the most part, expect to spend about $12 no matter what you get anywhere you go.

Wendy's, McDonald's, and Panda Express 

These all have the lowest prices. If you've had them before, you know what you're getting. So as an airline employee, those are good choices if you're stuck at the airport for 8-12+ hours a day!

I went on a hunt for the best milkshake today on one of my breaks and here's what I learned:

Starbucks closes by 2 PM, so I couldn't get my go-to, a caramel Frappuccino with extra caramel drizzled on the cup, hold the coffee (I don't drink coffee) about $7

Refuge has the same thing, a caramel Frappuccino with no coffee, but it's icier about $7

Wildflower has a fresh tasting peach milkshake, but the texture is more like a smoothie about $6

Wendy's frosty is sort of like ice cream. It's really in its own category about $2

Zinburger has three flavors, smaller cup. I got strawberry. It was too sweet and syrupy, not fresh at all. about $7

Peet's doesn't understand drinks without coffee

McDonald's has a delicious thick and creamy milkshake. It's my favorite! about $4
